This shrine was built 1621 by Yorinobu Tokugawa, first feudal lord of the Kishu Domain. Do not miss sculptures done by Jingoro Hidari, a legendary arist, and pictures painted on sliding paper doors by Tanyu Kano School and also one of Tokugawa’s official artists. The art of the Edo Period will steal your heart.
